We understand that for some in Dallas, Texas, traditional four-year colleges aren't for everyone. Many adults are juggling the demands of work and family but still want to earn a college diploma or degree. Remington College in Dallas, Texas offers Associate’s Degree Programs in Culinary Arts, Business Administration, Computer and Network Administration and Criminal Justice and Diploma Programs in Cosmetology, Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Assisting with X-Ray Tech (Limited Scope) and EKG, Pastry Arts, and Pharmacy Technician .
About Our Dallas, Texas College
Our Dallas college is located in a growing section of the Metroplex, northeast of Dallas. Our college campus is an easy drive from either Garland or Mesquite, two large suburban cities where many of our college students live.
Also convenient is the campus's open-door policy. Students are encouraged to visit any senior manager or the campus president to ask a question, address a concern, or just say hello - our doors are always open. We take our responsibility to help college degree-seeking students very seriously, so giving them an open forum to communicate with us is paramount.
In addition, our small class sizes may allow college students more time with their course instructors; our experienced and professional faculty can help mentor students; and our career-relevant education programs and hands-on training can help prepare graduates for entry-level jobs in a variety of career exciting fields (1)

Our Dallas college offers both degree and diploma programs, some of which can be completed in as few as 12 months, with some classes available both day and night. (2)
Associate’s Degree Programs:
Texas Culinary Arts School Program
Our Dallas Campus Culinary Arts associate's degree program covers a wide range of culinary concepts, from food preparation techniques to basic and advanced culinary skills. The program is led by a veteran in the culinary industry, Executive Chef Robert Bifulco. Students gain true-to-life, practical cooking experience in five fully equipped instructional labs that help to prepare them for entry-level positions in various types of culinary facilities (1)
Business Administration Degree
The Business Administration associate's degree helps to prepare students at our Dallas, Texas campus for entry-level positions that require a diverse, broad-based knowledge of vital business policies and procedures for success in the global marketplace. (1) Courses cover accounting, computer systems, supervisory management, marketing skills, communication skills, and more.
Computer and Network Administrator Training Program
Our Computer and Network Administration associate's degree program combines the coursework and hands-on training needed for entry-level positions that require installing, upgrading, and maintaining computer systems and network systems.(1) Graduates of our Dallas, Texas campus receive a degree and can earn up to five Microsoft certifications on their way toward obtaining an entry-level position in network or computer system administration(1)
Criminal Justice Degree
Our Criminal Justice associate's degree program curriculum includes subjects as diverse as juvenile delinquency, constitutional law, and correctional systems taught by instructors who have worked or are currently working in the field. Graduates of our Dallas, Texas campus are given a foundation with which to begin or advance a career incarcerating and helping to rehabilitate adult and juvenile offenders, assisting victims, and preventing crime.(1)
Diploma Program:
Cosmetology Training Program
The Cosmetology college diploma program at our Dallas, Texas campus uses a salon-like environment to provide students with hands-on training in scientific/artistic principles and the fundamentals of cosmetology and skin care, hair care and styling, and nail care. The program helps to prepare students for the state's board licensing exams(3) on their way toward entry-level positions in salons, spas, and related businesses in the beauty industry (1)
Medical Assistant Training Program
Students in our Medical Assisting diploma program at the Dallas, Texas campus benefit from hands-on coursework that provides lessons on a variety of clinical procedures and day-to-day business operations of a medical facility. Graduates should be prepared for entry-level medical assisting employment opportunities in doctors' offices, hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, and other types of health care facilities (1)
X-Ray Technician Training Program
The curriculum of our college diploma program in Medical Assisting with X-Ray Tech (Limited Scope) and EKG provides instruction in administrative and clinical medical assisting as well as in limited X-ray and EKG procedures. In addition to developing skills that are used in clinical settings, students at our Dallas, Texas campus learn X-ray and EKG techniques, have the opportunity to participate in externship training in a real medical office, (4) and can earn their diploma in as few as 12 months.
Medical Billing Training Program
The Medical Billing and Coding Diploma Program coursework at our Dallas, Texas campus covers a fundamental range of subjects, from medical coding and terminology to human anatomy and physiology. Graduates may go on to become health information coders, medical record coders, coding specialists, medical database supervisors, or medical office administrative assistants.(1)
Pastry Arts Training Program
Students in our Dallas Pastry Arts diploma program have the opportunity to study the science and art of creating and professionally presenting cakes, cookies, tarts, breads, and many other types of pastries. Students benefit from the opportunity to learn pastry chef skills including the proper measuring procedures, industry equipment and how to use it, the science of baking, and pastry assembly and decoration.
Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Students of our Dallas, Texas campus's Pharmacy Technician college diploma program learn about the side effects, dosage calculation, and administration of drugs through coursework, while getting hands-on training in techniques such as weighing, measuring, compounding, and blending pharmaceutical ingredients accurately. Graduates should be prepared to work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists and assume many of the vital technical and administrative responsibilities related to drug dispensing.(1)
